This is Clinton's Legacy

2/25/99

It has long been noted that any organization tends to take on the persona of it's leader. The best example of this phenomena, at least until now, that I was ever able to cite to demonstrate this fact was General Patton's troops during WW II. They, like their leader, were a hard drinking, hard driving lot, who neither asked for, nor gave, quarter in pursuit of their objectives. Late in the war, when Hitler's vaunted armies launched an all out counter offensive against the combined allied forces, the attack culminated with the entire US 3rd Army entrapped and on the verge of extinction.

Desperate, Eisenhower ordered Gen. George Patton to the rescue, and in one of the most amazing displays of pure military power in the history of warfare, Patton's troops brushed aside the armies of the 3rd Reich, sprung the US 3rd Army, and visited death and destruction upon everything and anything in their path into the bargain. Adolf's armies were never quite the same again.

The present leader of our nation is without a doubt the most corrupt, lying, lecherous sneak to ever visit his charms upon our government, and he has succeeded in remaking virtually every facet of the federal bureaucracy in his sordid image. The Commerce Dept fell long ago, through it's use of Clinton approved corporate extortion to fill the coffers of the Democrat party. Janet (the witch of Waco) Reno's Justice Dept has become an outright joke, and everyone, including the NY Times, knows it.

The FBI has become corrupted beyond reclamation - it should be closed permanently. The Immigration and Naturalization Agency now spends it's time filling our shores with Democrat voters, both legal and illegal, it matters not to them. The Census Bureau announced yesterday that despite a Supreme Court ruling to the contrary, it was going to use statistical sampling to count heads, thereby rigging House seats to suit Clinton's party.

This week, two more Clinton Cabinet level officials fell by the wayside, charged with contempt of court by a federal Judge. Now what do you think they were held in contempt for - given their fearless leader's proclivities, at least his non sexual ones? If you guessed lying, stonewalling, and withholding subpoenaed documents, a-la Hillary, you guessed right. Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin and Interior Secretary Bruce Babbitt were both cited and the fed ordered to pay court costs of up to $500,000 that were incurred in the case. Rest assured, however, that you, not Babbitt and Rubin, will be footing the bill.

Sued for gross mismanagement of the Bureau of Indian Affairs trust funds (I'll bet the missing loot wound up in the Clinton campaign's war chest-prove me wrong), ordered to testify and produce pertinent records, they did absolutely nothing for several years except lie and block all attempts to get at the truth.

In his contempt citation, the Judge said that he had never seen more egregious misconduct on the part of government agencies. He went on to say that Babbitt and Rubin must accept responsibility for outright false (not misleading in Clintonspeak) statements (aka-lying) made during hearings on the case. Sound familiar? You bet it's familiar, and it is shameful "in extremis."

Would you like to know how much money is involved in this investigation? Well, brace your feet, because it s $2.5 billion (I said billion) dollars.

Now if two Republicans, members of Reagan, or Bush's Cabinet had ever been charged with perjury, contempt of court, up to and including egregious misconduct, and more, tell me how long it would take the mainstream media, and every editor of every paper in the nation to demand their immediate resignations, and don't even try to tell me different - the uproar would be instantaneous and repeated nightly until something was done, and you can take that to the bank - Ed Meese and many others have been hounded out of office for a lot less.

So why do you suppose two top ranking officials can pull stuff like that and the media's silence is almost deafening?

It's because (besides the fact that the media loves the head scumbag) corruption in the Clinton administration, and at all levels, has become pandemic and the revered man at the very top sets the example for all to emulate, that's why!

And that will be Clinton's final legacy - full acceptance of deviate, illegal, and immoral behavior, at least as practiced by top Democrats. Republicans who get caught tying their shoes wrong are forced to resign by their own party!
