AMG,
You are cordially invited to the Maine Liberty Summit on Saturday December 15 @ 11AM. It will be at the Union St Brick Church in Bangor.
It will be an open forum on the future of the Liberty movement in Maine.
Sponsoring Organizations: Campaign for Liberty, Defense of Liberty PAC, Tenth Amendment Center, Maine Taxpayers United, The Canary Party, John Birch Society, Young Americans for Liberty, Medical Marijuana Caregivers of Maine, Maine Tea Party Patriots and more to come!
Please come by, it is shaping up to be a great event!
"Sen. Collins reneged on her pledge to only serve for at most 12 years, or 2 only terms, in the Senate. In 2002, Collins stated in a letter to a constituent her continued pledge to serve only 12 years in the Senate, "I intend to serve only two terms as I indicated in the Sanford forum six years ago." On October 12, 2006 Collins stated that she was breaking her pledge ...."
Rick maybe you and Susan should attend, set those young whipper snappers straight
You children (or at least those of you who will actually stay in Maine after your "Scorched Earth" plans are finished) better get used to saying:
Senator Chellie Pingree
Will THAT make your "Point"?
You OK with that????
Mike G all you and young whipper snappers have to learn is "she wins elections" ,in a district where many of the "liberty" movement appear to be from !
A hint it isn't ideology or votes it is something else !
A hint it isn't ideology or votes it is something else ! ??
Appearance? The fact that she is a republican? She isn't as socialist as Pingree, her arch rival? lesser of two evils? Knows how to get along, doesn't make waves? goes along so she gets along? Brings federal dollars to Maine? ahh that must be it
Mike G
If you have to ask you haven't learned it ,yet keep trying.
Rick, David said everyone is welcome to the Liberty summit. Not sure I would want to go. They might have special seating for establishment types, sort of like when the guys visited the fraternity in Animal House and were put in a special room.
I'm sure they will try to run some "liberty" candidate against Susan Collins. To make their point.
Will the attendees be filmed against their will, and badgered, like what happened to Jan Staples and other Republicans at those other meetings?
Jan Staples deserves to be badgered
Does she deserve to be threatened too Mike?
Jan Staples deserves to be THANKED for her service to Maine Republicans; which even benefitted the little clutch of "Liberty" creeps who slithered into Maine in the last year or so.
Think there would have been THREE call centers in Maine without the work of Jan Staples?
What are the odds that the little child Ashley Ryan will have this kind of influence with the folks in Washington, D.C. (especially with her close supporters like Boyer - on tape saying he would "RELISH" taking RNC money and using it for his hand-picked "Ron Paul candidates")???
These "Liberty" bastards are completely missing the DECENCY gene... Or at least that's one theory about how creeps like Pffaff, Boyer, Brakey, etc. would gang up and treat an older lady like they did... Just a couple weeks ago. (Not to mention the 3:00 AM phone calls and DEATH THREATS last summer!)
AND we can certainly assume the "Liberty" creeps will be set up in Bangor for photographing, videotaping, writing down license plates... what will they be ordered to do next???
I wouldn't know David Boyer if I tripped over him. But it is interesting to note his lack of response to this thread - which he, himself, initiated.
She helped bring a suit to overturn the results of a fair election at the Augusta Republican convention because she didn't like the results, her and Cianchette. She is the child and an evil one at that.
Reaganite the thread has diverged somewhat
It certainly has diverged somewhat. But if I were David Boyer, I'd want to respond to try to get my message out.
"...fair election..."
Yeah - you keep repeating that often enough, and somebody outside your own little circle might actually believe it one day... assuming that voting with a LUNCH TICKET is included in the definition of a "...fair election!"
=========
And speaking of those joke elections and the Weak Links we're stuck with now.... how much influence will your little girl Ashley have with the RNC anyway?
I'm following this and the next maine gop thread, and i have to say "How in the hell did republicans make the strides they did in 2010?".
You all act like a bunch of feuding democrats.
Rick, not only "voting with meal tickets", but Alternate Delegates voting as Delegates, and Delegates voting multiple times in multiple counties. Not to mention a non quorum when the national committee people were elected.
I feel a little bit bad for Ashley, she seems like she is just a pawn of the out of state liberty people.
I,for one, look forward to attended the Maine Liberty Summit. Rumor on the street is that Chairman Cebra is going to be there as well as House Minority Leader Ken Fredette.
how much influence will your little girl Ashley have with the RNC anyway?
Absolutely none and as well it should be, because why would we expect her to have any influence with a bunch of self-serving thieves.
Actually we should all thank Staples and Cianchette for helping shine the light on the RNC and letting not only us who was at the Augusta Convention see their theft but a good portion of the voters in the country as well. Why we might have thought that the common man might actually have a say in politics if it wasn't for Staples and Cianchette, now we know only the influential need apply.
Your heavy handed tactics worked out quite well nationwide and here in Maine. Now that Romney is president and Maine GOP holds both houses here, Staples and Cianchette must be proud.
No Ugenetoo, fueding dems. smile get along accomplish things and then stab their fellow dems. later. No difference except
outward appearances!

So of those compalining about the event...will you attend? I for one would enjoy attending and hearing different thoughts..
Unless we have a howling blizzard I intend to go. You see, my institutional memory goes back to 1973 before the "twins" were born. I have offered to provide some background as to where we are coming from and where we intend to go. Maybe they will join in with our decades old liberty movement. We could use some help. I'll be the white haired guy off to the side with some Revolutionary War flags on the wall and some background material they could learn from. There will be a lot of experts from Maine in that room that they could learn from.
Theyre not interested in joining you, Roger. Theyre not interested in Maine.
Theyve been clear that theyre interested in using the Maine GOP as a vehicle to control. And thats just because they believe thats easier than using the Democratic party as a vehicle.
There will probably be a lot of people there who can come by my table and learn something.
I will be there and I am looking forward seeing and meeting everyone that I do not know . . . we need to move forward as a Party and stop all of this bickering. We are Liberty, Tea, Constitutional, Conservative, Christian, and yes, some that attend will be from the Establishment . . . but we are all Republicans. Liberty is very popular within all flavors of our party . . . and most importantly . . . it attracts the attention of the Independents . . . just like Reagan did.
That said . . . I am handing the olive branch to Apollo, Rick Blaine and Bruce Libby. Guys . . . I would love to meet you halfway and stop all of the infighting. I am a free agent who is a Constitutional Libertarian Republican . . . not a member of any PAC . . . and intend to stay that way.
Best,
Violet
Some of those people could be real Maine residents. Some could be sitting at a keyboard at 413 Dirksen Senate Office Building. Washington, D.C. There is no way to know for sure.
Spot on Roger . . . know this may be so . . . which makes all of this interesting. . . V.
Violet, I am looking forward to seeing you again...you are a breath of fresh air!
Thanks Beth . . . looking forward to seeing you too:) . . . you and Rich are going to make a great team. I am looking forward to working with you both . . . Best, V.

What is this?
Anybody know about it?
Why is this kid from Maryland, (who posted with utmost insincerity about Maine Republican "unity" when he thought HIS candidate for State Chair would win), organizing yet another separate meeting for the "Liberty" (aka: "Ron/Rand Paul fanatics") splinter-group of Maine Republicans?
PUT ANOTHER WAY... Is young Boyer organizing a similar meeting for the Problem Child wing of the Maine Democrats too (because that party is, in Boyer's words, "Just As Bad" as Republicans)????
.
.
.
.
I think I'm probably busy the 15th, and can't drive down to Bangor. Anybody going????
