The economy created just 80,000 jobs in June, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. But that same month, 85,000 workers left the workforce entirely to enroll in the Social Security Disability Insurance program, according to the Social Security Administration.
The disability ranks have outpaced job growth throughout President Obama's economic recovery.
Disability Ranks Outpace New Jobs In Obama Recovery
This is a complete disaster.
Un-effin-believable.
There goes my retirement plan for the good life at 80.
Ugenetoo: When you start figuring your retirement needs you should include the 5% per year compounded deflation of the U.S. currency. You can thank your government for that fact.
My retirement plan is simple. Sell everything I own, buy a minimalist bungalow near a place that will be a beach when the ocean rises, and take up exsteeem sports until I die from some accident.
This societal attitude to depend on the nanny government by claiming a disability is indicative why we as a nation are doomed. So many have been bought by the liberal agenda of government will provide everything, that there are few left to do actual productive work. We as a nation will implode on itself and it has already begun. By the time most of you are as old as I am now the Obamacare will have written you off as a poor risk for medical help, especially if you are not one of the chosen.
Notice to all free loaders. You think you've got it made but wait until Obama wins in November and begins to find out he has milked the cow dry. The bankers and their lawyers friends who make the rules will keep printing money but it won't be worth much.
