Al Diamon on Jason Levesque

The hot bag of wind AD strikes again
Al Diamon has just made some librarians very happy.
Slow day for Al Diamon. Move along folks. Nothing to see here.
I have a feeling I am going to regret asking but why, Naran, did AD make some librarians very happy?
Roger Ek, Levesque is his own worst enemy. I wrote to him a couple times asking where he stands on gun rights and school vouchers, just like the library issue, NO ANSWER!! Levesque is not going to beat Michaud and it is his own fault. I cannot, and will not vote for Levesque just because he has an R after his name!
Al is a friend of mine. We got fired by the same radio station a month apart. (They fired Al first, of course.) If you run for high office in Maine, Al is going to make fun of you. Not something to get worked up about.
I saw Mr. Levesque earlier this week in Lewiston and I could not find any pine cones. I looked twice.
This is VERY GOOD for Levesque. Al Diamon only pays attention to "contenders". This column is the official notice that Jason Levesque is a "contender".
Congratulations Jason!!!!
On the other hand; I don't think he will be doing a column on Paul LePage...
If by some quirk, Paul LePage does not make it, Maine would be doomed to another eight years of progressive Hell. I don't think Maine voters would let that happen. They are far more aware than they were were eight years ago.
Don - if you read the thread below, All Will Be Revealed.
Robert the ax you seem to want to grind against JL is quite dull. Perhaps a cork would do. If the back of your head felt like it was hit by a 2x4 it's ok, it's just the rest of us explaining to you that compared to michaud, JL is a good candidate for the republican party and Maine's future. In fact, next to Michaud, a pine cone in a suit is a great candidate.
Instead of whine, go meet the candidate. He is very accessible and I just betcha he'll answer those q's face to face.
jcmcards, the ax that I grind is that Levesque lied about the whole library deal, and refused to come forward and set the record straight. He caused library workers a great deal of heartache, and didn't seem to care. As it stands, I cannot vote for him. This year, I will vote for the person, not the party. Please, do not give me the wasted vote speech.
This whole thing reminds me of the Snowe-Mello race, she refused to set the record straight on the puppy mill fiasco, and I do believe her silence cost her the race.
Instead of whine, go meet the candidate. He is very accessible and I just betcha he'll answer those q's face to face.
My time is valuable and limited. I should not have to chase down someone that wants to work for me. He is the one applying for the job. He is the one who shoul;d make his platform known.
I thought that was way below Diamon's usual quality.
Anyone got a photo of the pinecone head? I cannot find it on the site indicated.
Welcome to the AMG forum, Dolley Madison!
One suspects the pine cone-head photo has been consigned to the Levesque Library.
Wow Robert...my summation of you was off. Your more full of yourself than I thought....as I said, the candidate is accessible. Do the work. Just maybe that Library scenario is just where it should be....off in the sunset. Concentrate on the issues Robert. Concentrate on Michaud and on the failed policies of democratic leadership both here in Maine and across the country. While your ax is dull Robert, your reasoning ability is even duller.....yawwwwwn.
Robert - from one Robert to another, i agree with your take on levesque and why I will not support him.
As Peter Mills once told me, it is the ambition of every Maine politician never to be mentioned in an Al Diamon column. I, on the other hand, found nothing objectionable in the column he wrote about me---as close to an endorsement as we are ever going to see.
I did correct him when he described my campaign as an "extraordinary failure" pointing out the it was a mere ordinary failure. He didn't disagree, but pointed out that I was in the shooting gallery. Fair enough. That's his game and may he flourish forever.
Your more full of yourself than I thought
I am not full of myself. I was just brought up with a set of moral standards, for which I will not apologize for.
Do the work.
I leave the house at 4:30 every morning and don't get back till 6:30 or 7:00 at night. My spare time is valuable family time. I am not the one looking for the job. Levesque is. He is the one that needs to do the work!
Just maybe that Library scenario is just where it should be....off in the sunset.
Yes, off in the sunset. Lie, create turmoil, ignore the people. Yes, off in the sunset, just like my vote.
