In just one more example of how our higher education system is a spearhead in the movement to convert and subvert America to communism/socialism, the colleges in S Carolina are refusing to provide courses on the Constitution and other founding documents as required by S Carolina's State Statute.
It is time we do to the higher educations institutions as we have done to the 5th column media...call them out, fine them and close them down.
What egotistical, elitist, smug, dangerous bastards they all are....
Where have you been? This has been going on since colleges were established. Even Hillsdale, which prides itself on teaching the Constitution hasn't recognized that Progressive politicians have emasculated the document since 1824 and teaches its students that the Constitution is still relevant.
Well it seems to me that if they don't teach that the Constitution is relevant then they've given up on the whole idea of what America is meant to be.
100% correct Al. This coven of vipers do not want America, they want the USSR to be their government.
They already have what they want and continue to insure that it stays exactly that way.
The state of higher education just hasn't been the same since Trump University closed.
pmcon, given his academia credentials at MIT, is going to being a visiting Prol at Hillsdale in the semester starting after the first of the year. It will be an update on the US Constitution.
In the first class, he'll put up this chart:
1. The Constitution is irrelevant.
2. Discuss.
3. Class dismissed; everyone will be getting an A.
4..This completes your semester.
So are government mandates about what is taught in universities the new conservative position?
Actually ,the answer is sending children there who have been taught what is BS and what isn't.
Myself I blame faculty in a lot of schools particularly liberal arts etc..
I remember IMO when the downfall started, it was the late 60's Vietnam protest era. Faculty figured out it wasn't' nice to fail a student and have them dropout and get drafted. So, everyone got a passing grade, prof. didn't have to dress up and could be cool with students.
For now best answer is just accept there isn't much one can do about it just don't send kids to bad ones.
As has been mentioned by many make sure student is going for something marketable.
My daughter went to a very liberal college for women majoring in nursing. Yes, the activism was a paint end pf 4 years she still wasn't anti anything but it was not easy to be anti something. In end she got a degree and it served her well in every job she got.
What’s really a shame is that universities don’t teach kids how to hang an effective sentence anymore. And half of college graduates can’t even use a possessive apostrophe correctly.
Right, Webster?
I wouldn't know Smegma II ,I am not a college graduate.
Not only what's being indoctrinated into these young minds, but, the amount of debt that is being foisted on them.
A good article on the student debt problem along with some solutions:

When I was in high school 45 plus years ago, one half year of education on the constitution and a full year of American history were required to graduate......... not anymore.
At least when the Soviets indoctrinated someone... they didn't get a bill for it later.
Let's overlook that Watcher apparently has no objection to the State mandating what each school district has to teach. Of more interest is all the other required subjects mandated by the SC Legislature.
Hey Gerry....I didn't read all of the requirements but I saw nothing untoward. You will note that the SC teachers are ignoring the requirement to teach Americans about America. The people are, after all, Socialist teachers marching as to war against America, her culture, her the Capitalism system, individual freedom, the person above the crowd or State...etc.
I stand by my opinion...teachers, professors, education administration are truly the 5th column in our midst.
I pirated this from Toolsmith's post on the institutional ignorance and it is on point...
The kids are taught to be dumb
Thanks, Watcher. I was amazed the trolls didn't pounce when I posted it!
And it is so "on point", and true. Every day, I encounter young people who literally know nothing of the past... or even the present.
Except, of course, what they've been told to think. Do not, however, ask them to define any of the topics. They can't.
Yes, Fair Share; those SC mandates are pretty onerous:

We can argue over who should determine what is taught. But readin', ritin', and rithmatic seem pretty unobjectionable, unless you're a real loopdy loo.
Just what don't you like in the enumerated subjects? Please be specific.....
Mel, it is clear that being a loose cannon Liberal, Gerry objects to all that crap about the Constitution, laws and such. How dare we!
