AMG Lunch in Disgusta?

I would love to do lunch with you guys and gals as well! If you need to do it on a weekday, I would have to meet you in Disgusta. If you meet on a weekend I'd drive to St. David to meet you all! :)

Oh, C'Mon, Now...

We can invite Pilgrim to say Grace before the meal.

A couple of places that come to mind for a picnic in the Augusta area include the Capitol Park or the Veteran's Cemetary in TOGUS (it really is pretty up there).

Then for an indoor thing, there's the "Senator" up by the Civic Ctr, which the last time I was there seemed pretty OK.

Keep us posted, won't you? Your Hosts from "The Talkin' Maine" Show on WLOB would probably like to make an appearance.

I think I will skip that meeting. I just cannot imagine spending time with the Organized Republcain Effort in Augusta. I would love to attend a lunch in honor of the Republican Gang of 14, but I have a feeling that will never happen.

We could "take over" the cafeteria in the Cross Office Building. They have a rather large back room.

The Senator is WAY too rich for my blood... unless you don't mind paying 10 dollars per sesame seed on the hamburger bun. :-) The only good thing is that they will probably put foie gras on the burger, if that's a good thing for you... :-)

I have to do some research for a good place for lots of people if we're doing an indoor thing.

We could all get together some weekend outside of disgusta if you have an aversion to the place....

Why not use the Chambers, they haven't been used for anything that results in something good coming out of it in a while. Ask who caters for them.

Actually Tony, it has happened - albeit informally - last summer.

The next time we do it we'll keep you in mind if you'd like.
