Congratulations Daddy Bruce.
You just had quadruplets.
Would have deleted sooner but kept not getting on.
God loves you
Whenever I click a reply and it doesn't seem to TAKE, I open another window to the site and see if it did take, then I don't seem like a total moron with 4 deletes, which is difficult to do for many of us, myself included.
Ya Mike that works real well if one can get back on.
It is quite evident at times you really do not look like a idiot , although times....!
Well before an obituary comes the medical examiner's
report and the death certificate. The cause of death is listed.
Bruce, before you wear out any more keyboards please
ponder "cause of death."
Well that better than those who have had a hissy fit and left.
But I hear you,I would also like to hear your take on others who exceed my posting and then some.
Instead of a vague reference why don't you just spell it out.
Also ,even the beloved Fish didn't impose a limit on posting quantity.
Maybe that is something you could work on with new owner.
Don't like what I post do not read it, just ignore it.
Doe this sound familiar, you have offended me!
Some folks listen but do not hear. When you finally realize this you stop shouting or you will frustrate yourself into madness. Escape while you can and join the listeners because they have tuned you out.
I guess we finally have something in common !
Then again there is George
If ever a man had nothing to do, beyond some of us, ahem, it was him.
Some said he saw himself as King George, as we fought for independence, but others saw him as a fool, a man consumed by ATV s and beavers and whatever...................
ATVs, beavers and Canadians. LOL
Actually Matt the flag you refer to
is not the "Stars & Bars". It is either a battle flag, commonly used by of the Army of Northern Virginia or a Naval Jack
The flag below is the Stars & Bars flag.
I know the media uses the flag name incorrectly but they are largely a bunch of dopes.
While I have no issue with either the battle flag or the Stars and Bars being displayed, personally, I prefer the Bonnie Blue flag as a symbol for secession, self governance, or state sovereignty.
AMG used to be a place I'd visit often, now like my trips to Maine to visit, have become infrequent and fleeting.
Roger Ek keep laboring to pass on that knowledge of the "Way Life Should Be". Perhaps write & publish a book, keep a journal or make some audio recordings on a cassette tape. Just in case ...
Bruce - thanks for starting another great thread
I have a file on my computer titled "Book". LURC went into effect on September 23, 1971, but that was just the frosting on the progressive cake. The effort began in Maine in 1921 and was written down after the Bar Harbor fire in 1947. They wrote down how they wanted Maine to be in 100 years. It included "no paper company land". It didn't take a hundred years. Today there is no paper company land in Maine; not one single acre.
My hard drive is backed up daily.
Why thank you. Your giving us our own version of "Fun with Flags' ( ala Big Bang theory) is much appreciated.
Please do not be a stranger it is't that much fun. lol
