AMG Sleep Apnea Thread

Do any other AMGers have sleep apnea? Please contribute stories here.
I was diagnosed in 2001 and prescribed the usual junk. Before I understood what was going on, I had an infection on the bridge of my nose and, ultimately, permanent scarring. I put the stuff away until 2005 when I found NOMASK on my own - my doctor had never heard of it. When I told him about it, a few days later - lo! - my equipment supplier (you may have seen their vans here and there around ME) called to ask if I wanted them to deliver one to me. I asked them what it would cost. After a bunch of shucking' and jivin', they told me, and it was a valuable lesson.
This kind of medical equipment gets a 10x markup, at least, from manufacturer to supplier, to grease a few palms in between.
I buy my stuff directly, over the internet. That doctor no longer returns my calls, so I self diagnose. I found the secret instructions to set the machine in just a couple minutes googling.
But enough about me ...
