Barack Obama and Scott Brown are cousins

"Obama is related to Vice President Dick Cheney", and George W Bush is related to "John Kerry, Marilyn Monroe and Princess Di and half a dozen ex-presidents".

Virtually every white anglo saxon protestant (WASPs) who can trace their routes back to the 1700 or 1800 hundreds are related to eanch other in some way. I am in those same family trees.

I referred to the term WASP recently in a converstion and the person I was talking to had no clue what I meant. It certianally has gone out of common usage.

I had no idea that WASP had fallen out of usage. Just a well, since the W is redundant. There's no such thing as a BASP or YASP as far as I know.

I'm 11th cousin to George Bush. Does this make me part of this genetic conspiracy? The mathematics work like this, the Frary Family Association counts 1800+ descendants of our Stammvater. The Puritan settlers had a birth rate which was off the charts. Demographers would not believe it possible if the records did not exist. Had our lot continued to breed at that rate down to the present day there would be more ASPs than Chinese.

Recently I saw a PBS special that traced the descendants of the illegitimate offspring of British royalty, down through the ages to modern times. Then the researchers rang the doorbells of some descendants they found in the UK and the USA, with the news, and a fancy scroll illuminating the bloodline. Pretty interesting stuff.

Basically, we're pretty much all related, if you go back far enough.

Lost Royals

There are many who believe that the elite ruling class takes their genealogy very seriously. Being a prole, myself, I am not privy to know one way or the other. In either case, it's certainly a more interesting subject to ponder than most of the nonsense splashed in my face via the corporate "media" organs and their mockingbird agents trying to convince me that the political system is not a complete fraud.
