300grain pill at @ 700fps. I'll report back on recoil. It is supposed to be like a kitten but I'll know for sure soon.

Did you get the .45 conversion kit too? Guncrafters says the heavy barrel and lighter slide makes for light recoil and faster cycle time than most other 1911s. I'd be interested to hear if it's really that noticeable.
