Eh, I dunno, Trump is basically confirmed to be a liar and a douchebag, which is not in itself newsworthy, but his ability to lead the GOP is pretty much shot.
If there were impeachable evidence, it would be worse, because then Pence would take over and the GOP would actually start to act as a unit. This way, they can continue to bicker with themselves for 18 more months and accomplish nothing.
Tom C bot: keep telling yourself that, you liberal scum
Me: I will, thank you, Tom C bot!
Comey Debunks NYT Report About Trump Campaign Having Repeated Contacts With Russians
CNN issues correction after Comey statement contradicts reporting

Did you hear Paul Ryan?
'See? Trump's a great guy . . rookie mistake . . still feeling his way around . . I control access to impeachment hearings.' 'Ooops! Did I say that?'
To my astonishment, Crash McCain tried to be Trump's greatest advocate but his dementia prevented him from completing coherent sentences.

Memogate . . have we exploited memogate, yet? Slide over to 12:00 for a thorough and deliberate analysis of how Comey incriminated himself, in the Public Square, no less!
The Bing news feed is pretty left, they tout any leftie fake news story... and even they dropped any mention of Comey down to about 11th place.
Hasn't stopped the failing Portland Press Herald from running a big fake news headline this morning.
All in all, the lefties just want to forget about the guy at this point.
"Did you hear Paul Ryan?
'See? Trump's a great guy . . rookie mistake . . still feeling his way around . . I control access to impeachment hearings.' 'Ooops! Did I say that?'"
Paul Ryan is no better at leading the GOP.
"To my astonishment, Crash McCain tried to be Trump's greatest advocate but his dementia prevented him from completing coherent sentences."
Yeah on a more serious note, I wonder if we should be worried. I don't have any relatives with Alzheimer's (knock on wood) but isn't garbling up sentences like that an early sign?
Most of the rank-and-file Republicans hate Paul Ryan. Every time he posts something to Facebook he gets about a 1000 nasty responses that say he a big phony.
He's the classic GOP-e phony.
McCain, too. The only reason he's still around is the MSM know if they stick a mic in his face he'll bash Trump.
Oh ac, as one of the better trained parrots of the despicable demented democrat dogma, you were an "early adapter" of the now debunked election collusion bunk.
Will we see you admit to your past rampant and fatuous assholeries?
Does anyone here admit to their past rampant and fatuous assholeries? No.
Admit it, you like the fact that I'm here. It would be significantly more dull without me.
Ive admitted wrongness. Its just so rare that im wrong that you missed it. And i didnt say i want you gone. Its so much fun blasting you!
Cenci, if you open your mouth and let those drops coming from trump touch your tongue, you will see that it is indeed piss and not rain.
Only a doofus conservative parrot would take what transpired yesterday as vindication, or any sort of win. "You guys were hoping the house would burn down, but look, it's still standing! Sure, the foundation is crumbling and the walls are filled with mold. But whatever!"
Trump asked Comey to bend over if he wanted to keep his job, cuz Flynn is a good guy, after all! Only a douchebag would root for this kind of "leadership."
I love reading your pea wittery
I must admit that Smegma jr. is still just that as he can't even rise to being a equal to Smegma.
Tonight's topic of discussion--
What's more accurate: Trump's tweets or Bruce Libby's spelling and grammar?
Trump continues to disappoint as prez compared to his campaign rhetoric, but such niceties as dumping the Paris climate accord and pissing off people like Matt and all the snowflakes out there makes it somewhat worthwhile. The Beltway on both sides of the aisle hate his guts and that is what we have to sooth our disappointment.
PS it is quite funny that anyone who questions the propaganda coming out of the former Clinton supporting presstitutes and the nevertrumpsters of the GOP are consider die-hard Trump supporters, many of us have long recognized BS Beltway mindset and can call a spade a spade.
Reading legal commentary from both the Left and the Right, what becomes clear is that the person that Comey put into legal jeopardy is...Comey himself. That, and he blew the whole Russia-Trump collusion thing out of the water, not that there was any serious evidence to begin with. Oh, and admitting that there was no pressure from Trump to stop investigating.
People who hate Trump will find all kinds of "evidence" to continue to hate Trump. People who paid attention to what was said will realize that there is nothing here except hatred for Trump and will move on.
The cool aid recap:
When a president "asks" the head of the FBI to drop an investigation of his buddy multiple times, and then fires him when he doesn't, its "nothing to see."
"The cool aid recap:
In that case, perhaps you should stop drinking "cool aid".
Check out the info in the links regarding Comey’s past and background.
What is interesting is that Comey was fired after Sessions was approved, AND Comey was away from his office and did not see the firing coming....ie could not prep for it......AND THEN Sessions took possession of all of Comey's computers and other information in his office and files. SO: Sessions and the President have a LOT of information that Comey did not get a chance to shred. Interesting.

But……what about the…………”Trump worked with the Russians to steal the election thing that FBI was investigating?” That changed. Oh.
The investigation of Hillary sharing top secret info via email with Anthony Weenie's puter. That changed, we stopped looking at that.
And the play for pay for Sec of State Hillary…..Changed, that was then, this is now….like the Clinton foundation funding fiasco….changed as in…..we are all distracted now.
Trump never had a chance at becoming president….it was Hillary all the way. That changed. Next?
So, in essence, the president agreed with your statement that it would be great if we could have an investigation, all the facts came out and we found nothing. So he agreed that that would be ideal, but this cloud is still messing up my ability to do the rest of my agenda. Is that an accurate assessment of.
COMEY: Yes, sir. He actually went farther than that. He -- he said, "And if some of my satellites did something wrong, it'd be good to find that out."RUBIO: Well, that's the second part, and that is the satellites. He said, "If (ph) one of my satellites" -- I imagine, by that, he meant some of the other people surrounding his campaign -- "did something wrong, it would be great to know that, as well"?
COMEY: Yes, sir. That's what he said.
RUBIO: So are those the other -- are those the only two instances in which that sort of back-and-forth happened, where the president was basically saying, and I'm paraphrasing here, it's OK, do the Russia investigation. I hope it all comes out. I have nothing to do with anything Russia. It'd be great if it all came out, if people around me were doing things that were wrong.COMEY: Yes. As I -- I recorded it accurately there. That was the sentiment he was expressing. Yes, sir.
By the way Viking Star....its Kool Aid....not cool aid.....K.
See, what Comey said that Trump said was......"COMEY: Yes, sir. He actually went farther than that. He -- he said, "And if some of my satellites did something wrong, it'd be good to find that out."
At this point nothing much will come of it.
With any luck at all it will enter into a slow death spiral phase.
Oh no, Bruce--it will last as long as the Democrats find usefulness in it; when it stops being useful, or it starts endangering Democrats, that's when it will disappear like a soap bubble and be cast down the Memory Hole.
"By the way Viking Star....its Kool Aid....not cool aid.....K"
Yes, I know, I was just echoing Matt;s mispelling, hence the quotation marks.
Vikingstart I do not disagree but how it will occur is the point.
From todays PPH:http://www.pressherald.com/2017/06/11/collins-comey-may-have-misinterpre...
Here is the beloved Senator starting the slow funeral march to it. Not the rabid extremist nor the staunchest view but a middle roader
introducing a concept. Yes, they will keep it going ,but those who do , do so at great risk to themselves particularly their credibility.
@Bruce: "The best respose to last Thursday was by Rush L . .
"Nothing much will chnage from it .""
Pretty much, *unless* Trump testifies, then all bets are off. What is normally the usual Trump bullshit will suddenly become perjury.
As pretty much every lawyer ever has advised: "keep your mouth shut."
BTW... does anyone here *actually* think tapes of Comey's conversations exist???
Does anyone think Comey thinks Trump tried to impede the “Russia investigation”?
RUBIO: So are those the other -- are those the only two instances in which that sort of back-and-forth happened, where the president was basically saying, and I'm paraphrasing here, it's OK, do the Russia investigation. COMEY: Yes. As I -- I recorded it accurately there. That was the sentiment he was expressing. Yes, sir.
They almost certainly do. However, by producing even one, demonrats would spend until eternity demanding that he produce all the tapes of all the Oval Office conversations so they could go though those endlessly to take stuff out of context to bash him with.
