But yesterday, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke said something amazing—U.S. consumers should pay for part of Chinese greenhouse-gas emissions. From Reuters:

“It’s important that those who consume the products being made all around the world to the benefit of America — and it’s our own consumption activity that’s causing the emission of greenhouse gases, then quite frankly Americans need to pay for that,” Commerce Secretary Gary Locke told the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

No wonder the Congress was so hot to pass Cap and Tax without letting anyone read it.

I'm glad someone has some sense in DC. We have to help those poor struggling Chinese.

(I have ocean front property, bridge included, in central Nebraska, will sell cheap. PS it is a toll bridge, instant returns)

Ok let's tariff the Chinese goods to reflect the true costs of production and pollution etc.

Then finance a rocket with revenue from same and blast all the members of congress and the executive branch for a one way trip somewhere off this planet. We can even let them choose where they would like to go.

Our founders understood the value of tariffs and getting rid of tyranny, it's time we followed their advice.
