Corporate Media refuses to defend Assange

https://medium.com/@caityjohnstone/in-refusing-to-defend-assange-mainstr...

Mass media outlets in America and around the world have fully discredited themselves with their failure to defend a publisher who actually holds power to account and brings facts into the light of truth to create an informed populace. Every day that goes by where they don’t unequivocally condemn any attempt to prosecute Assange is another day in the pile of evidence that corporate media outlets serve power and not truth. Their silence is a tacit admission that they are nothing other than stenographers and propagandists for the most powerful forces on earth.

Other than she, herself,

Other than she, herself, Assange was most responsible for the defeat of that awful woman.
It's not surprising that the socialist propaganda spewing fake news media holds him in disdain.

The Australian-born Assange, 47, has lived in Ecuador's Embassy since seeking refuge and asylum in 2012. But he ran afoul of his hosts when he publicly questioned the British government’s assessment that the Kremlin was behind the nerve agent attack on a former Russian intelligence officer in Salisbury earlier this year.

I don't think Wikileaks has

I don't think Wikileaks has ever published false information. What it does do is publish the truth from whistle blowers, that, unfortunately the corporate media is too corrupt to publish or too timid to publish.

The reason that the Brits and US want to prosecute Assange has nothing to do with his publication of the Podesta emails and Hiliary's lies but everything to do with Bush's and Obama's war crimes.

It is interesting that the progressives have almost all turned into Deep State CIA FBI MIC supporters, it shows their moral compass so well.

The fate of Julian Assange is the fate of one man, but it is also the fate of one of our most important freedoms. There won’t be shattered plate glass from vandalized businesses littering the streets, synagogues smashed, graves unearthed, or people herded onto trains. But his prosecution by the US government would destroy an inestimable value, one enshrined in the First Amendment, for which generations of Americans have fought and died: the right of the people and its press to inform the people and to hold their government to account.

Is it the responsibility of a

Is it the responsibility of a news agency to withhold information of whistleblowers until a government says it is alright to release the information to a world wide audience?

Do government/politicians have ultimate veto power over the publications of their emails and actions?

As far as Brits and US are concerned they do, how about Iran? how about Iraq? how about Syria? Well obviously not them they just goat herding shit hole countries.

But obviously the Brits and US, because they will kill you gladly, or most likely will.
