Pam Smart settles suit over racy jail photos

Pamela Smart, who is serving a life sentence... has received an $23,875 payday from the state of New York.
U.S. District Court Judge Robert Sweet approved a settlement agreement Monday to end Smart's 2006 civil federal lawsuit against the State of New York.
Smart... sued the state claiming unfair treatment by prison officials after photos of scantily clad Smart in a prison cell appeared in the National Enquirer.
Thank you, Tom! Through Auntie Mabel's ongoing work with female prison inmates (she finds that crochet and knitting work are very soothing for the terminally incarcerated), she has noted the great popularity of the Cup 'O Noodles line. One of those, and a small packet of beef jerky can keep a prisoner happy and occupied for hours.
