Possible discussion-starter:
We spend a lot of time railing at the media, politicians, judges, bureaucrats, the public education system, etc. etc. etc as to who's behind the decline of America. Lord knows I've done my share.
But doesn't it really come down to the people in this country who are too dumb or disinterested or wicked to make some decent decisions? Shouldn't almost all of our scorn be reserved for the people who don't stand up and do the right thing for our country? The "average person"?? (There's absolutely no excuse in this internet-age for not being at least somewhat well-informed).
Almost none of the crap that's happening would be happening if people would simply step up and get their head out of their you-know-what.
