A former policy adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher is slamming Senators Olympia Snowe and Jay Rockefeller over their letter to Exxon Mobile...
Now Lord Christopher Monckton says the letter is part of "an internationally-coordinated series of maladroit/malevolent attempts to silence" the climate change skeptics. Monckton says to the senators, "either withdraw that monstrous comparison forthwith, or resign so as not to pollute the office you hold."
The letter was the lead story on Rush yesterday.

An open response to U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., regarding a letter that he and Sen. Olympia Snowe, R, Maine, wrote in October to ExxonMobil Corp. to call attention to "the detrimental effects of industry-funded, so-called 'research' in the debate on global climate change" and a second letter to the author from Sen. Rockefeller:

FOX 23 had a discussion about the GW hoax this Morning, and one of the ads during the show showed a guy standing on the RR tracks with a freight train bearing down on him frim behind. He says something to the effect of "Global warming effects won't be felt for another 30 years. So I won't have to worry about it." and steps out of the way of the looming, thundering locomotive.
And there in the path of doom right behind him stands an innocent little girl in a pink dress - we are to assume, I assume, that she is his Granddaughter.

WASHINGTON - Congress must act to limit greenhouse gas emissions before the atmosphere reaches the point where catastrophic harm is unavoidable, Sen. Olympia Snowe said on Wednesday at an international forum on climate change.

Olympia Snowe, has found that the Environmental Protection Agency's rewrite of rules for reporting the use and release of toxic chemicals didn't meet the agency's own standards, won't save companies much money and will leave the public with much less useful information, it is time for this rollback to be repealed.
