Ah yes... I have very vivid memories of watching Mr. Wizard on Nickelodeon before I went to school in the morning. He was on at 5:30-6 and I woke up at 5:45 to catch the last 15 minutes. He was kinda boring, but seemed as close to Mr. Rogers as science will get. Good man.

They've got DVDs of both the original series and the one I used to watch in the 80s for sale.

OH COME ON, Mr wizard was great, I watched him in the 1980s.

Who would think you could turn Boiling water in a coffee cup into snow?

Would would think you could have so much fun with invisible Chalk. (write then have it show up minutes later).

He was one to get you thinking.

SCIENCE.

I watched Bill Nye too, (yes as an adult). Love to see what they show kids.

TechTV was Mr Wizard on Jolt, or RedBull.

Back in the 70s there was a TV commercial that was a parody of Mr Wizard. I don't recall the product, but it featured a man in a lab coat with frizzled hair and a demented look. The dialog started
