By: Capital News 9 web staffAn FBI agent said arson fires at an affluent Maryland development in suburban Washington may have been set by eco-terrorists.FBI investigators said they're checking into all possible motives for the early morning arson fires, which caused an estimated $10 million in damage.Twelve of the homes -- in Indian Head -- were destroyed, and 29 others were damaged. No injuries were reported.A Sierra Club report had criticized the development as "quintessential sprawl" that threatens "fragile" wetlands and historical sites. After the fires, the Sierra Club issued a statement saying it "strongly condemns all acts of violence in the name of the environment."

Environmental Terrorists Burn Down Homes - When Will Our Hom
Until these "eco-terrorists" get treated as the terrosists that they are nothing will change.
Bingo.who says terrorists aren't active on our soil?
The following screen capture[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/Tim4Trout/petaterroristdonation.j...is from peta's official tax documents showing a donation to the domestic terrorist group earth liberation front.

These are brilliant people. They oppose a housing project because of the land that it's on even though they missed the boat and didn't stop the project before the work began. So...they burn a bunch of places dumping tons of smoke into the air, put people's lives at risk, waste water used for fire suppression, and now the builders get to buy more wood and other building materials to replace what was lost. So, more trees are cut, more heavy equipment is run at the site, and more landfills are filled with the debris. These dips are really protecting the earth, huh?
There is somewhat of a solution.******************************************
§104. Use of force in defense of premises
1. A person in possession or control of premises or a person who is licensed or privileged to be thereon is justified in using nondeadly force upon another when and to the extent that he reasonably believes it necessary to prevent or terminate the commission of a criminal trespass by such other in or upon such premises.
************************************************ Translation -- you may shove, push, or whup upon them as needed, to get them off your land. Bill Randall, take note.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 2. A person in possession or control of premises or a person who is licensed or privileged to be thereon is justified in using deadly force upon another when and to the extent that he reasonably believes it necessary to prevent an attempt by the other to commit arson.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^If they are your houses, you may KILL anybody if you reasonably believe it necessary to keep them from burning said houses -- even if the houses are unoccupied.
Note: Maine law ONLY. Californicators may need to offer the arsonists hemp - based products until unconsciousness ensues.[ 12-07-2004: Message edited by: thejohnchapman ]
Officials Seek Driver in Md. Arson CaseBy STEPHEN MANNING, Associated Press Writer INDIAN HEAD, Md. - Investigators want to talk to the driver of a blue van that firefighters saw leaving a housing development where dozens of homes under construction burned, authorities said Wednesday. Arson has been ruled the cause at least seven of the fires, and although the investigators do not know if the van was involved, they want to speak with the driver, said Capt. Joe Montminy of the Charles County sheriff's office. "Obviously, that person is a potential witness, but possibly something more," Montminy said. Authorities don't know how many people were in the van, why it was there, or if it had any connection to the fires Monday, Montminy said. The blazes in the Hunters Brooke development, about 25 miles south of Washington, destroyed 12 homes and damaged 14. Just one of the damaged homes was occupied, and the family has been displaced while the investigation continues. The development had been criticized by environmentalists, and investigators have not ruled out ecoterrorism, or any other motive, such as race. Many of the new homeowners in Hunters Brooke are black, but Montminy said the area is racially mixed. On Tuesday, FBI (news - web sites) spokesman Barry Maddox said the agency was not aware of any claims of credit by any group. Maddox also said he was not aware of any recent activity in the Washington area by radical environmental groups such as the Earth Liberation Front. Charles County has experienced rapid growth in recent years as the Washington suburbs spread outward from the city, causing disputes over where and how to build. The Sierra Club (news - web sites) called the Hunters Brooke development "quintessential sprawl," saying it is far from existing infrastructure and "threatens a fragile wetland and important historical sites near the Chesapeake Bay." After the fires, the group issued a statement saying it "strongly condemns all acts of violence in the name of the environment."
Great post, tjc.I hope that this gets played up in the press and these ecoterrorists become exposed for the anti-American, anti-human scum that they are. And, I hope that peta and other groups that support the terrorist activities get painted with the same brush.
I wonder how some of these enviromental wacko's would react if their houses suddenly started to burn down. I would like to listen to the screams that would come from them.

To add to that thought:How many of them would cry if their SUV was taken away? It's amazing (whenever they protest) how many of them arrive in gas guzzling vehicles. Tru
Of course no-one, I mean no-one at all knows eco-terrorists did this. And the usual calling card of the eco terror groups was not left behind.
But no mind, it works for the propoganda to accuse first, learn later.Investigators, by the by, think it might well have been racially motivated because most of the new owners are black. But the eco terror assumption carries the headline. Those darned liberal media outlets.Chris.
Two headlines about this story have been referenced on this thread. One involves the word "ecoterrorists." The other does not, nor does it even hint at the connection. Thus, your satirical comment about those darn liberal media outlets, LL, holds no water. And your racial connection remark was unsourced, by the by. :D
Why doesn't the BDN for example point the finger at these environazis? Maybe because the publisher is hand in glove with them. These are not troubled activists or militants. They have the same goals as Al Qaida, to wit; they want our country reduced to a third world subsistance economy with no oil fired energy consumption. They go beyond oil to fossil fuels. They would have us carrying home bundles of sticks on our backs to make charcoal for cooking. Just read "Trashing the Economy" or "Ecoterror, The Violent Agenda to Save Nature". These environazis are just as great a threat to us as Al Qaida. They are active in Maine. They destroy logging equipment, genetically superior crops and tree farms.
So... where are the Righties jumping up and down that the Left Wing Media, who immediately fingered eco-terrorists, jumped to conclusions??

Oh Great One,
How do we know that the guard is not an eco-terrorist?
With Humble Thanks in Advance for Your Prophetic Insight,
