Forest Service: No permit needed for cloud seeding

JACKSON, - The U.S. Forest Service says the state of Wyoming can attempt to increase snowfall by seeding clouds over federal wilderness areas without federal environmental analysis.

Environmentalists say the agency is trying to sidestep laws and its own regulations.

No, they wouldn't. And cloud seeding to increase snowfall in WY is probably just as much a pipe-dream as hoping enviros will see the light-of-day.
