First ever case of voter fraud discovered!

You know how the knee-jerk response of the 'peoples' party' to any suggestion of possible voter fraud is always 'it never happens, there are no convictions, and it especially doesn't happen here?'

This report, then, must be the first ever case of such 'mischief,' and the perp proudly admits to it, it seems.

I only voted 6 times

This goes very nicely with the case of the Detroit council woman who wants the bacon shipments to accelerate:

Where's my bacon, baby?

Oh, yeah. Our democracy is in great shape, with a great outlook for the future.

Mel I am jumping this in here

Mel I am jumping this in here because it seems related to issue.
From the PPH dispatch column today:

Voting-rights supporters back Maine amendment
Civil libertarians, the League of Women Voters and other voting-rights advocates are supporting a bill to establish a statewide system of early voting.
The bill sponsored by Democratic Rep. Mike Shaw of Standish proposes to amend the Maine Constitution to require the Legislature to authorize a process allowing a qualified voter to vote at a polling place in or outside of the city, town or plantation where that voter's residence has been established during a period immediately preceding an election.
It also would allow for voting by absentee ballot by citizens for reasons deemed sufficient without requiring in the Constitution that the voter be absent or physically incapacitated.

I believe this would be a great bill to add onto ,just who is qualified voter is and who they are with a strict voter ID law!!!!! After all If I can go to Brunswick and vote early don't they have to know who I am!!!

So what? Voting isn't all

So what? Voting isn't all that it is cracked up to be. You get to vote for only those who can pass through the Democrat or Republican filter and either one is going to give you more of the same only at a different rate of speed. An independant who would return us to the system the framers first devised won't get through these filters and if they try and go it alone don't stand a chance. Just look what happened to Ross Perot and Steve Forbes.

The AG's office has

The AG's office has successfully prosecuted a couple of these. They weren't "Somalis pretending to be citizens". They were people who moved from one town to the other. White. I have heard there is one "African" case, but the guy voted, left the USA and the statute of limitation is long gone.

"A jury in South Bend,

"A jury in South Bend, Indiana has found that fraud put President Obama and Hillary Clinton on the presidential primary ballot in Indiana in the 2008 election. Two Democratic political operatives were convicted Thursday night in the illegal scheme after only three hours of deliberations. They were found guilty on all counts."

Felonies no less. Hang 'em high.
