GOP Overwhelming Support for Mayhew, LePage, at Dem 'Crack-Up' Press Event

Maine Democrats kept up their assault against the LePage Administration at a State House news conference today that was more "crack-up" than substance, using the vilest of terms in trying to blame DHHS Commissioner Mayhew for a malfunctioning computer system that began with the Baldacci Administration.
The news conference was at least half-full of Republican legislators, staff, and the LePage administration there in support of Mayhew and the Governor.

Augusta - Maine Democrats are accusing the LePage administration and Department of Health/Human Services Commissioner, Mary Mayhew, of lying to lawmakers and engaging in a cover up. Now they're demanding an investigation.
Meanwhile, Republicans were outraged, as they rallied behind the embattled DHHS Commissioner.
Augusta Republican Senator Roger Katz chairs the Government Oversight Committee.... "I just think it's unfortunate that in a partisan way, certain people have decided to be investigators, prosecutors, judge, and jury," Katz said....
