Just wanted to say I don't

Just wanted to say I don't see anyone mentioning the Bangor Daily news warnings that the gay bishop is coming to Maine in June
to promote SSM.
Christians who are not serious students are confused by the mixed messages coming from pulpits. I have been asked by Christian friends both back when we voted on the issue and again now if SSM is okay or not. Of course I answer with what I believe is the Biblical answer but go beyond that and tell them not to believe me but to grab the book with both hands and read it for yourself. They are too busy or distracted to do so.

Not to preach, but...
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
This was addressed to God's people, not the depraved heathen. just saying...

Ken Graves of Calvary Chapel

Ken Graves of Calvary Chapel Bangor had a great recorded teaching for this past week, I was able to hear the 30 minute broadcast on FM radio 99.5 over the weekend.

Pastor Graves said that during discussions and debates with pro homosexual marriage advocates he has been told that two consenting adults is their test that something is good. Graves then cited the man being prosecuted in Europe for killing and eating a person who gave explicit consent that he wanted to be killed and ate. Apparently, his recorded consent didn't meet legal criteria concerning the action that took place. Anyway, Graves mentions what is to prevent two men and a pony from being married, consent? I recommend going to the site and looking for an audio archive, you will find it thought provoking.

Now, as I though of what Ken Graves spoke of I began to think towards the extreme.
We can scoff about two men and a pony, but have not scientists claim to be able to communicate with some monkeys and dolphins? I believe I heard of an ape that can sign language. Could they some day be recognized as having given consent to have sex or a desire to be married to some person, man or woman don't make a difference.

It would simplify wedding gift purchases, but I hope I never see this. I believe the UN already recognizes the right of children to make their own choices. Stay tuned.

Been reading about the

Been reading about the Methodist Church International Meeting earlier this year. If it wasn't for the Bible Believing African and Philippine Christian represenatives, the liberal US delegation would have likely voted in the homosexual agenda. Had to laugh when some of the Africans actively discussed sending Missionaries to the USA to preach the Gospel to the heathens.....

Yes WV, it is a paradox. I

Yes WV, it is a paradox. I know people who want to go to far away lands to preach the Gospel, their faces aglow. I tell them
we need missionaries in Bangor, New York, Cleveland, and you don't even need a passport (today anyway).

Unfortunately history shows the the "church" grows best under persecution. I think we are getting ready to
see some growth in the USA.
