Hope springs eternal for Democrats - now in Georgia!

Georgia Special Election A Chance For Democrats 'To Make A Statement'

lol. Oh, gosh, what desperate, pathetic losers.

He's raised an unheard of $8.3 million for this race. But about 95 percent of that has come from outside Georgia.

hahahaha.

Spit-take:

Georgia Dem: No issue I don’t live in district

lol. The guy can't vote for himself.

Overall, turnout was high for

Overall, turnout was high for a Special Election and, with a few more precincts left to count early Wednesday, it appeared Ossoff would end up with about the same percent Hillary Clinton got in the district in November.

Democrat Jon Ossoff comes up short in Ga. special election, runoff set for June

lol.

Democrats didn’t even win a majority of the overall vote; Ossoff and the other Democratic and unaffiliated candidates got 94,087 votes in total (using Decision Desk HQ numbers), while Republicans combined for 97,997 votes, despite a lack of organization and resources dedicated to the special election.

Trump: Republicans scored a "big" win in GA-6 last night

hahaha. Dems COMBINED didn't get a majority.

Yet, the MSM keeps crowing

Yet, the MSM keeps crowing about "almost winning".
Only in horseshoes or democrat politics is "almost" a win.

The R candidate ran (lost) for governor last year. The D's name is Quist. Billings talk radio host referred to the race as 'serial candidate vs cereal candidate.'

Montana Newspaper Blasts

Montana Newspaper Blasts Quist as an ‘Entertainer Who Can’t Keep Track of His Own Finances’

SOURCE

Editorial board: 'We don't have a clue where Quist stands on most issues'

" . . We don't have a clue where Quist stands on most issues, and his criticism of Gianforte seems to be either confused or completely without merit–for example, claiming that Gianforte had "Russian ties" when really the Republican merely has stock in a mutual fund . . "

Voters will cast their ballots on May 25. According to recent polling, Gianforte holds a comfortable lead in the race, although Quist appears to be closing the gap days before the election.

Montana is 707 E/W highway

Montana is 707 E/W highway miles, border to border. That's a lot of radio time. I think I've heard every radio ad either side is running . . 20 or 30 times over. What I'm not hearing is the national radio coverage the carpetbagger down in Georgia got when it was imagined he might pull off a first round upset.

Silence is golden but the Rs have to remember to show up.

Beautiful country. I saw the biggest rattlesnake while hiking there - I swear I've never moved so quickly in my entire life.

No but I travel across it

No but I travel across it pretty regularly. And it is beautiful. It's also a bit odd . . the width of 2 or 3 average states with a population like Maine's. Statewide news is local news and vice versa, everywhere. I can cross Indiana, for example, in 2.5 hours. Montana typically takes a day and a half so it's easy to get immersed in their goings on.

The referenced election had an 85 day campaign window (votes tomorrow) and the two sides have spent over $19 million! R is leading it by a big margin but the Ds still believe they can steal it with turn out.

EDIT!

Then again, the R candidate could attack (alleged) a reporter on the night before the election . .

Audio of Montana GOP Congressional Candidate Greg Gianforte Assaulting Reporter

He (candidate) was setting up for a TV interview so there is speculation, at least, for a smoking video. The cops have been called and are investigating.

We'll give it a fresh new look in the morning.

Apparently 3 of the papers

Apparently 3 of the papers retracted their endorsements. (No source, just saw it on cable news)

Sheriff cited him with misdemeanor assault (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/05/24/greg-gianforte-fox-news-team-...)

Just remember kids - you're supposed to body slam the reporter *after* the election, not before!

What to Watch for in Montana: Three Scenarios

SOURCE

" . . Voters in Montana woke up on Election Day to newspaper front pages filled with the explosive news that Republican Greg Gianforte allegedly assaulted a reporter hours before polls opened in the state's high-profile special congressional election against Democrat Rob Quist.

But any political impact will be blunted by the fact that as many as two-thirds of voters are estimated to have already cast a ballot."
_________________________________________________________________________

The three scenarios then follow.

The FOX witness narrative is breaking down. It doesn't matter if FOX fox thinks the vanquished reporter was being aggressive. The threat was Gianforte's to perceive. And Montanans are not unaccustomed to a little rough and tumble.

LIVE UPDATES (different source)

At Billings polling places, alleged assault by a candidate doesn't change voters' minds.

Ugenedouche is Exhibit A-hole

Ugenedouche is Exhibit A-hole of your typical pseudo toughguy, who thinks Matthew Shepard deserved to be murdered and a reporter who asks a candidate about his party's legislation deserves hands around the neck.
