John Kerry, Oculomotor Nerve Palsy

One of my friends pointed out to me that something's wrong with John Kerry's right eye. His upper lid droops and his right eye is aimed down and to the right. He has a 3rd cranial nerve palsy, it appears. This can be quite serious. There's been nothing in the news about it although it's clearly obvious in any pictures or videos of the Secretary the last couple of weeks. Here's a link to a video from September 1. September 1Right Eye, Down and Out. Here's a clip from August 26 where his right eye and right upper lid look much more normal (for him):August 26 (warning: if you're like me who can't stand listening to Obama OR Kerry speak, turn off the sound)

The title of this thread

The title of this thread sounds like a lack of focus. It seems to be endemic in this administration.

There is another possible

There is another possible explanation. Emotional control of the left side of the face is often less strong than emotional control of the right side of the face. But in some people the brain hemispheres are reversed. Kerry has been asked to spend the last 3 weeks making ridiculous propagandized statements...

I'm far less concerned by the possibility of oculomotor nerve palsy than I am by the clear evidence of cranioanal impaction.

I did notice the eye issue

I did notice the eye issue lately and was just wondering if it was just something I didn't notice before.

I agree with eagle island. What an empty suit and embarrassment.

I'm reminded of the great

I'm reminded of the great actor Herbert Lom, who died only last year at age 95. He played Chief Inspector Dreyfus in the Pink Panther movies. You may recall that Dreyfus developed a nervous eye tick from dealing with the incompetent boob, Inspector Clouseau. For Dreyfus read JFK; for the boob, read ... Well, you figure it out.

Very noticeable over the last several days, including the weekend live shots. And he seemed to be made-up far more than I've noticed in the past. He's beginning to look like a wax-museum doppelganger of himself.

I've always thought of his

I've always thought of his ailment asbeing more along the line of the very tail end of a spastic colon.....
