JROTC - Does your high school have this program?

Myself and the high school principal are researching this. I have all the links and have started printing out all the information on all the branches of the military JROTC service programs. Right now it is a research project.

I was wondering if any of you have this program going on in any of your high schools and would you be willing to share any of your experiences. I will take any information you have to offer including the cost of running one of these programs.

My nephew is in a JROTC program in South Carolina and his commanding officer will be contacting me in a few days. If you can suggest things to ask that I would need to know that I might not think of, it would be appreciated.

While researching about the Navy, I found the Navy and Coast Guard share their JROTC program.

What peaked my interest in this, is the number of graduates going into the military over the past few years almost equals that of those going to college. So I started wondering if it would be worth it for our school district to have a JROTC program. Hence, here we start the research on this.
