Pratt gave the man’s first name as “Chet,” and said Chet sold a fair amount of items when he was visiting last weekend. He said Chet plans on his next visit to bring Klu Klux Klan brochures to pass out to anyone who’s interested, in the hopes of rallying support for the Klan’s cause in the Bridgton area.
Because Pratt is claiming free speech, when the police had shown up and that includes the Chief, there is nothing they could do. However that all changed when Pratt assaulted a news crew and it was caught on camera. Because of all the media attention and pressure from the locals, he had taken down all the signs.
