Maine Dems Use Special Session Fear as Fundraising Tool

My good friends at the Maine Deomcrat Party have asked me to forward this to all the indoctrinated here on AMG:
Governor LePage wants to call the legislature into special session before Election Day so he can pass something he says will "put Maine on the right track for the next 10 years."
Union busting? Redistricting? Voter ID laws? Who knows. We know it's so extreme that the governor and attorney general are still wrestling over whether it's constitutional or not.
They're running scared.
LePage made the announcement last night at a private GOP fundraiser and a secret recording was leaked to the media. So much for "people before politics."
While the policy is a mystery, the fact that we are poised to win back the legislature this year is not.
This is nothing more than last-chance power grab.
Enough is enough.
Help us fight back by supporting the Maine Democratic Coordinated Campaign and the people who are working on the front lines to take back the Statehouse.
Click here to make your donation of $35, $100, $500 or whatever you can today.
Maine people deserve better. Putting Democrats back in the majority in Augusta is the only way to stop LePage during his final two years in office. Please help us fight back now.
Thank you for your support.
