Moxie Festival is July 13, 14, 15 this year. Arguably the best parade in the state of Maine; anyone thinking of going besides us??
This years festival theme is ...
MOXIE on Broadway
I wonder if it will attract any of that certain segment of society who supposedly like Broadway show tunes. :lol:

Wish I could be there this year.....
I enjoyed myself last year...Marched in the parade with Chandler Woodcock and Olympia Snowe had a great time at it as Chandler was a good man and it was fun marching with him...

My hat's off to the folks in Lisbon Falls. I always stop in for some Moxie ice cream every family reunion. Moxie has been a standard beverage in our household since before the FDA made them change the recipe. Last summer I had two fishing clients from New Jersey who went home liking both Moxie & fiddleheads (they'd never heard of either). Caveat on buying "Moxie" elsewhere. Last year we visited the oldest boy in the Sacramento Valley; they have "Moxie" out there, right-looking label, correct license - and it tastes like used-over gutter drainings! Discussed the hideosity with the King of Moxie in Lisbon Falls; he's heard the same story from many folks who travel. Domestic Moxie is the real thing; all else is sham & vile.
