"Nurse: Doctor, this man has money coming out of his ears!"

Tune in to WLOB tomorrow morning for a "new and improved" version of this ad spot.

Let's just say it will be a tad closer to the original Saturday Night Live skit they ripped off and it may not be quite as positive about how Dirigo is doing!

The comic opportunity is simply too great to resist!

I heard the add this morning. The idea that a union that refuses to allow its own benefit plan to include Dirigo will endorse the turkey of a plan, is very amusing indeed.

Nice rip-off of an old e-trade superbowl ad. I wish the guv could hire people with talent, not plagarists.

Funny that union dues are being used to pay for a commercial to support a tax on the health insurance of its members.

If I were paying the dues I would be royally pissed-off. I'm glad I'm not.

If they like it so much as to spend money supporting it, make them get on it.

It has been a bone of contention with a lot of members who are not Dems. But with a CLOSE SHOP now no choice. The Union and Stae are in bed with each other. Hoping for a change in 06 in regards to numnber of Rep to Dems. Maybe then something can be done. Not holding my breath, dreaming I guess.

What would you think if you were a member of the Autoworkers Union, and the head of the union started singing the praises of GM's CEO?

What would you think if you were a stock holder?

Good for the GOOSE -- Good for the Gander???

Gotta love that the union for state govt workers (like they need a union???) supports the liberal Dem governor -- I'm shocked, SHOCKED!

Not to mention that the statements presented as facts are pure BS:

"...lowered premiums..."

"...cut costs..."

"...saved millions of dollars..."

Where did they come up with this???

MY premiums are going UP because I have a real job, don't have tax-funded benefits or a tax-funded paycheck or a tax-funded union.

These Koolaid-drinking liberals are so eager to believe in something, they'll believe anything!

BUT we can't imagine the levels of screaming and whining we'd hear from the state employee androids if anybody in authority would even suggest that THEY lose their precious benefits* and pay some real, out-of-pocket money for Dirigo "coverage."

They'd be running some ads alright - and not as cute and cozy as the current kissy-face Dirigo-support hypocrisy!!

Dirigo is a distraction. Another expensive socialist experiment/failure
