The mission of The Nature Conservancy is to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.

I wouldn't state it quite so strongly. Most of the Nature Conservancy's actions go unseen by the average person even if visiting the areas of the NC's influence.
I think your thread title overstates the matter - or reflects, as Scrooge might observe, a bit of undigested pudding.
I, for one, would not wish to be a cubit taller. No point. Since my life is infinite, an additional microsecond is meaningless.

Perhaps the good folks at the Nature Conservancy could create some more water, or perhaps they could create all new air. Maybe they could add a cubit to their height or a micro second to thier lives.
