Open Carry (Again)

Greetings!

I'm new here, came across the site while researching open carry laws in Maine.

I'm retired Navy and a resident of Downeast Maine since 1973.

I saw a thread about publicizing the legality of open carry by exercising that right in small groups. A few of you met at a restaurant (Dennys?) and had a good time while presenting a positive image of gun ownership.

I absolutely love that idea, and wonder if there is such a group in the Ellsworth-Milbridge area, or any interest in creating such a group?

I look forward to chatting with everyone here, as well as on the politically-oriented forums. Anything we can do to keep Second Amendment Rights in the public eye and out of the hands of our increasingly Socialist "representatives" is a Good Thing.
