Georgetown - Today, Bruce Poliquin, candidate for Maine Governor, announced that the campaign has been successful in raising $24,000 in the last 24 days of the year. The campaign began the initiative on December 7th and successfully completed the drive in 17 days.
"I am exceedingly pleased by our successful initiative to raise $24,000 in the last 24 days of the year. We completed our goal in just over 2 weeks due in large part to a winning vision that resonates with voters. We have also shown that we're committed to doing the hard work it takes to win, and that's a big reason supporters are joining our team."
"We're now focused on reaching our overall goal for the full reporting period. We're very close to our 1000th individual contribution for the year. I'm very encouraged by the response from the last two weeks and confident that we will be successful in that drive as well."
In the previous reporting period, Poliquin ended with three times as many donors as his closest competitor. The current reporting period ends on December 31.
