Say what you want about George W. Bush, but he was not a potty mouth, and he certainly didn't feel the need to defend himself every time someone commented.

I saw that too. It's always funny when a skinny little stick figure talks about kicking ass. Ayuh, I can imagine, between his smoker's cough and trying to catch his breath. And his remark to Matt Lauer about talking heads, I wonder what Lauer was thinking.

Obama's handlers must really have it in for him. Who wants a repeat of Algore trying to be Alpha Male?

When you elect trash, you get trash. It's a fairly simple equation.

Yawn.

Dub only used phrases like "He's a major league ***hole" when he thought the microphones were off . . .

The very civilized George Bush just used to flip the bird at people. I could provide visual evidence, but Editor frowns on that. And then there was Bush and Cheney with the open mike calling someone a rectal orifice.

This just proves that Obama can do no right on these pages. "He's not tough enough." "He's too tough." "He's too skinny." "He smokes." "Smoking is a person's right (unless he's Obama)" and on and on.

Do you really think Obama is talking about physical combat? I think he's speaking metaphorically and, yes, he has the power to impart some serious posterial damage.

"What they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this s**t, and it's over."
the dubbya to Tony Blair at the G-8 summit with a mouth full of food.
Potty? It was a buttered roll his gob was full of as he swore.

Of course not. The White House Resident Obama is trying very hard to distance himself and his Administration from a situation in which he had some participation. Anyone here who raised children recognizes the tactic.

President Bush did indeed have his moments. But I cannot recall one time when he gave an interview where he WANTED to look like some sort of puffy-chested adolescent, which is what Obama looks like, whether he knows it or not.

BP has so far stepped up to the plate. They have promised to pay for all damages. Why would the Administration threaten to sue them for their part in what is clearly an accident if they are not shirking a single duty? Only reason I can think of is the one in my first paragraph here.

Of all the things for him to finally show emotion over, this one is, in my mind, bizarre.

I don't care if he is an adult or a child...he is the leader of our nation and should act like it...and not act like some two bit punk that needs an attitude adjustment...if it is an attitude adjustment he wants, I am sure we can round up some of the unfriendly types at Bentley's in Arundel and send them down and say have at him.

Just thank your lucky stars this disaster is done by a private company who makes a profit, if the oil industry was owned and run by the Govt as some would like WE would be paying for Obama's administrations screwup. These people in charge are his people not Bush's, Salazar signed off on this rig so maybe it is his a** Obama is going to kick.

"Bring it on."
And the US proceeds to invade Iraq.

What do you want? Limited government, then you go nuts when the government doesn't suit your perception?

Obama just cannot pull off the tough guy act, Michelle maybe but Barack no way for one simple reason he is not a leader, never has been never will be kind of sad actually. It will take years to reverse what is being done, but at least when I look at Greece I know what is coming.

Barry is a glass-jawed weenie. He doesn't get a pass because "Bush did it too", since he is no longer in 5th grade.
