Protester at Channel 6

I'd rather be fed to the lions than become fodder for Hells furnace.Denying Jesus is denying history. That said, He was absolutely right to say,"Render unto Caesar what is Caesars, and unto God what is Gods." Government exists to protect us from force and fraud. Beyond that, we are rendering unto Caesar that which is Gods, that is, our church and individual responsibilities we have gladly given to government.[ 03-28-2004: Message edited by: Fred Staples ]

Protester at Channel 6

My wife just called me and said that there is a woman standing out in front of Channel 6 with a sign that says "Reform News Now!". Anyone know what that is all about?

Kinda like the Republican slackjaw droolers here, with their paranoid evangelical grasp on reality.

Re: Protester at Channel 6

Paranoid Evangelical? A true evangelical is one who believes that Jesus is God, and has provided a supernatural "fix" (via His death AND physical resurrection) for our individual, rebellious rejection of His active, personal, creative interest in and authority over our lives. They have personally responded to this fix, and seek to inform others of this incredible supernatural occurrcence, by way of obediently loving God's creation - YOU!Paranoia is commonly associated with mental instability and the belief that persecution is occurring. The Bible warns of supernatural and physical persecution because of a believer's association with Jesus. I suppose, assuming you were thinking about your words, that if you reject the truth of Scripture, you would naturally then believe that the threat of supernatural and physical persecution is paranoia on the part of evangelicals. We evangelicals DO believe Someone is coming to get us!As we spew, Sir, let us consider our words. Regurgitation of buzzwords betrays a lack of thought. There's a lotta anger there, Wingy. Something in the arena of faith challenging you? Or is it just........paranoia?[ 03-27-2004: Message edited by: knucklehead ]
