Looks like he laid down and put foot under scooter/bike!

Other than that I give cop 6 points plus 3 bonus he was a lawyer guild observer , I assume not a lawyer, most would be smart enough to be in their office seeking a affiliation w/ Joe Bornstein!!!!
Protestor 3 1/2 points the scream appears to be put on and there are too many cameras there for this to be a real incident vs. staged.
Post #61 shows a very well executed take down note the interjection of the officers leg between protesters drawing him off balance and on his way to become intimate w/ a New York street w/ two officers on top of him whispering sweet nothings in his ear!!!!!
Good finds Apollo !!

Can 'Occupy' protests last without leaders?

By CHRIS HAWLEY and DAVID B. CARUSO
Associated Press

NEW YORK (AP) -- They were out to change the world, overthrow the establishment and liberate the poor. But first somebody would have to do something about those bongo drums.

....protesters agonized over what to do about drum players ...The neighbors were complaining about the racket. The protesters had tried to put a time limit on the noise, but the drummers were refusing to obey.

"It's an issue, definitely," sighed protester Kanene Holder, 31, on Friday night. ....

Despicable action in that photo - the perps should be flogged. Or, forcibly evicted to a country where they might appreciate this one just a bit more.

Anti-Wall St. movement grows to dozens of cities
About 175 protesters were arrested in Chicago early today when they refused to take down their tents and leave a city park when it closed.

NEW YORK — About 175 protesters who were part of a growing anti-Wall Street sentiment were arrested in Chicago early today when they refused to take down their tents and leave a city park when it closed, police said....

The arrests were mostly peaceful ... a contrast to many demonstrators elsewhere....

Washington Square Park Will Be Occupied Every Evening This Week

Sunday’s meeting followed large-scale protests in Times Square and Washington Square Park on Saturday, where police arrested 14 people for attempting to stay in Washington Square after it closed. In response to the arrests, leaders on Twitter called for a return to the park “with sleeping bags,” but all signs of a protest vanished by the midnight closing time of the park.

I went to NYU's Washington Square College of Arts and Sciences from 9/66 to 6/70. Every day I walked through the park, owned by NYC, as the shortest distance to the places I needed to be. Believe me, when they turned most of the lights out at midnight, you really wanted to stay away.

There's a big fountain and circular pool right in the middle. Those arrested couldn't decide whether it was a bathtub or a urinal.

Occupy Wall Street protesters said yesterday that packs of brazen crooks within their ranks have been robbing their fellow demonstrators blind, making off with pricey cameras, phones and laptops -- and even a hefty bundle of donated cash and food.

“I had my Mac stolen -- that was like $5,500. Every night, something else is gone. Last night, our entire [kitchen] budget for the day was stolen, so the first thing I had to do was . . . get the message out to our supporters that we needed food!”

Smart shopper, that one. And since she's been mugged, perhaps a future conservative.

Sucks to have to share your stuff with people who have no claim on it, at least in your eyes.

This is redistribution in government style.

One of the comments on the article said it all. "People demanding redistribution of wealth complaining when theirs gets redistributed - interesting". I especially like how the protesters confronted some vagrant that was collecting money on behalf of the protests and then pocketing it himself. So not only are they greedy, self serving capitalists, they hate the homeless too. This is hilarious.

OCTOBER 19--A well-known “Occupy Wall Street” protester who was arrested last Friday for kneeling down in prayer and blocking traffic in lower Manhattan is wanted in Indiana for failing to appear in court in connection with criminal charges filed after cops found him naked, intoxicated, and covered in olive oil in a public park.

Occupy Baltimore memo could discourage victims from reporting assaults

Efforts by the Occupy Baltimore protest group to evolve into a self-contained, self-governing community have erupted into controversy with the distribution of a pamphlet that victim advocates and health workers fear discourages victims of sexual assaults from contacting police.

The pamphlet says that members of the protest group who believe they are victims or who suspect sexual abuse "are encouraged to immediately report the incident to the Security Committee," which will investigate and "supply the abuser with counseling resources."

Ha-ha. Reaganite, you have opted for the nanny state over anarchism.

I've not opted for the nanny state at all. Providing for safety is an essential function of any government. It has nothing to do with nanny statism.

Oh, and the word you're looking for is anarchy, not anarchism. If the "occupiers" practiced anarchy, I dare say most of their number would run home to mommy.

I miss the Police Horses the city of Portland once had. Nothing clears a hole in an unruly crowd like a big horse. I’ve watched the Old Port drunken flood gates open when the bars let out and the horses would park in the middle of a scrum sending the drunks to the pavement with a swift tug on the rains. Impressive! Works better then the bike NYPD was using.

Post 61 is a classic. The white shirt looks like it might not pass a Maine State Police Inspection due to stick starch regulations, but then again NYPD sees more action in 1hr them most Maine Police see all year.

The homless invation of occupy Portland, Ore is priceless. The true utopian social model must be inclusive of the vagabond. If they are going to offer up free food and health care, it's can't be limited to their little pack when they are running with the 99% moto. The call for social reform is not cheap by any means and when the book smart students gets to rub elbows with the underbelly of the socail order the visons of Grandeur qickly fade.

Did you see O'Reilly Friday night? Apparently, the Occupy people don't like TV cameramen and newspeople "trespassing" in their camps. Somewhere in California, they assaulted a TV crew, and had a Rotweiler attack a news producer. They told them that cameras are forbidden and they want the news stations to cover city hall, not them.

Are they getting a bit sensitive?

Chicago, Cincinnati protesters arrested
A spokesman later vows that Occupy Chicago protests will continue.

The Associated Press

CHICAGO — ... Occupy Chicago movement stood their ground in a downtown park in noisy but peaceful defiance of police orders to clear out, prompting 130 arrests ...snip

Elsewhere in the nation, police reported 11 arrests overnight in the Occupy Cincinnati protests.

Police said those arrested had stayed in that city’s Fountain Square after Sunday’s 3 a.m. closing time and each was charged with criminal trespass.

LOL - the protesters are being encouraged and funded by liberals and propped up by the media, so now the big city leftists can deal with them!

The mass arrests take up a lot of government time. The average booking for one arrest in Maine can take up to 30 minutes, if they are cooperative. Mass arrests on this scale must undergo an exspress booking with no bail to bind up the flow.

On Hannity last night he said statistics show that the police are spending so much time on the Occupy protesters that crime is going up in the rest of New York City.
