None of your business, Naran.

Add Ricky Keim to the list this week. Although not entirely random. Good luck with the business, Ricky!

I met Lance Dunston today at a cookout at Rep. Mike Thibodeau's camp. I was impressed. I hope to meet him and chat again.

The weirdest thing is finding out that you know an AMG poster who does not post under his or her real name. I see one AMG poster on a regular basis and have to be careful not to call s/he but his/her AMG name.

Democrat works in the same law firm as you do?

No AMG posters other than me work at my law firm -- as far as I know.

I met up with several AMGers today and we spent about 5 hours together. Knucklehead was in attendance today, along with his sons. It was a pleasure. How many AMGers ears were ringing this afternoon?

I tried to patronize Bob MacGregor's store yesterday, but it was closed at 11:15am. There were no hours posted that I could see, so I played it safe and headed for home. I'd have lingered and shopped the other stores if my wife had been with me, but I had taken the kids to camp myself and was close to cracking!

Corvus,

My apologies to you! I feel bad you missed us. Sundays are hit or miss sometimes. The woman that works for me usually comes in after church, around 12:30. I came down at 1pm to get some things but had to go to Litchfield, and my helper never made it in because her husband was ill.

I decided against posting hours because with my travel schedule it is not often easy to keep regular hours. We are usually here 10 am - 5 pm Monday - Saturday, and 12:30-5 Sunday.

And besides, even when the door is closed (and unlocked) and the "closed" sign up, people come in and ask "are you open"? 8)

The odd hours are a benefit of not having to rely totally on the store for my income. I admire my neighbors who show up seven days a week, without fail.

All that said, if you are ever up this way again, call ahead and I will be sure one of us is here. Thanks for thinking of us.

Corvus was king enough to try again, and found us open today. Thanks for stopping in, hope you found the 30-point buck you were after.

And, since I have a witness in Corvus, Tom Allen stopped in "looking for his wife", and then walked out again. Wonder why he was shopping in Belfast?

Maybe he heard that Belfast has nice wives for sale, Bob.

What is the name of your store, Bob, and where is it in Belfast?

(If this isn't classifed information, that is...)

There's an issue with the site that I hope to repair on Monday.

How about 1 Maine's moonbat as an identfying pin or bumper sticker. With bright shiny eyes, it would be cute and eye catching.

Man, nobody comes up into the hills!

(Let's see how many AMGers recognize that one.)

Your local US Senator is FROM the County, don't you ever see her up there?

That sounds like what someone would say if they had difficulty ordering a pizza late at night, while toasted and watching TV...maybe a Ralph Spoilsport commercial, or the Howl of the Wolf Movie.

Or just simply watching themselves on TV all night. Only costs a nickel.

I've lived up here since '68 & have never met Susan. I have met Olympia a number of times. But US Senators aren't "local," they're elected at-large.

pmh, don't feel like the Lone Ranger. OK, let's take a poll. How many here in AMG live in a "Pizza Delivery Zone"?. Heck, the only time I've had pizza delivered in Maine is when I was a motel in Bangor. What a luxury.

Maybe from The Waltons? Jim-Bob, perhaps.
