Rising from the ash-heap of Maine politics...can you guess who?

He's backkkkkkkkkk!
Johnny Richardson, that is. Former head of Maine's PHS demographic; Speaker of the House; and disqualified candidate for Governor two years ago.
He's taken out papers to run for the open at-large seat on the Brunswick Town Council. At the moment, it looks like he will go unchallenged, since Joanne King, long time councilor, with most of her years as Council Chair, has indicated she will not seek re-election.
Funny thing is that Madame King served as Johnny's campaign treasurer in the ill-fated effort of 2010.
Fortunately, they still have some unused signatures from that effort that can be 'cut and pasted' on to the council race nomination papers.
Should be fun to watch John-boy engage with the mixed bag of council members, and see how long it takes him to convince them he should be chair right out of the blocks.
Not so fast, Naran. I would put unbounded ambition at the top of his list of defining characteristics.
I'm prone to take this as a coming out party for the restart of his political career, testing the waters for another run against LePage in two years, or for Congress.
Naran said, "Well, at least he'll do less damage to Maine at large, sitting on a town council. I feel badly for Brunswick, however."
Sorry your feeler is not up to snuff, Naran. As for me I feel bad about Brunswick. My feeler works pretty well though.
Just couldn't resist. :-))

My guess was John Badacci
Sneaky devil or overt devil it still means the Teachers Union and Bowdoin College will have their way with Brunswick, the taxpayers be damned.
