Ron Paul backers complete weekend sweep in Minnesota

"The results mean 32 of Minnesota's 40 national delegates to the Republican convention in Tampa, Fla., in August will be committed to Paul. . .

. . Marianne Stebbins, Paul's state campaign chairwoman, said their victory "sends a message that we're not just giving lip service to liberty and smaller government -- we're serious about it."

Thank you, Minnesotans! Roll on, Ron Paul!

Has he moved into 3rd place yet or is he still behind Santorum and Gingrich?

PAULFEST 2012

This is getting interesting. I read a similar story yesterday predicting an attendence of 20k. In the linked USNews story, the festival promoters are now predicting 100k! I had no intention of being anywhere near Tampa around convention time but for this I can be persuaded.

Apollo! You want to split an RV rental? I can drive night shift.

I changed my mind at the GOP State Convention. I support Mitt Romney.

This is getting confusing.RP was is running for Repub.nomination.
His delegates will cast for him at R convention.
PPH calls today in an article ,the LIbertarien candidate ?
But his delegates are at R convention.
We are asked to vote for G. Johnson of the Lib.party .
There is a concept out there called the Tea Party, but we are told they are not a party and have no organization like a Party.
In here some where some say R cannot win w/out the liberty party ?
There is a whole lot of partying going on !!!

This is like the second grader who suddenly finds out that you can add two numbers together without counting all the way up. Holy cow!

Bruce, If you put your ear to the ground you'll hear the thundering hooves of an onrushing army. The alternative is to look at the clouds and be unable to avoid the stampede.

Us second graders understand enough to be leery of the upper classmen and their chants of liberty and everything else as they approach.

Seems to me that there were a lot of pre independence players who were leery of the thundering hoard many years ago before joinig in.

But really make this simple if you follow all the various posts here it is real easy to get just a little confused as to what group is what and
who is for who !
Which IMHO is just what someone wanted and was more interested in than being President.
But it is easier just to classify something as second grade then superiority of idea can be held above all.

The Polish Cavalry in 1939 were thundering hoofs, until they came upon German Tanks!!!

Once the resolve of the Colonials solidified there were never more that three percent of our population at arms during the eight years from 1775 to 1783. In general a third of our population wanted independence, a third opposed it and a third didn't want to get involved. I believe we have three percent today who will stand for our Constitution if it comes to that.
