The Russia Debacle

If the government (FBI, CIA, Justice Dept.) are convinced the Russians attempted to rig the election of 2016 it would come as a result of knowing what they did and how they did it and they have so far avoided answering those questions because they can’t.

Hillary won the election (popular vote) but didn’t get elected because the systems weighs the votes of heavily populated areas more than less. The attempt to discredit her by exposing her selling influence was mounted not by the Russians but, Wikileaks. The government has not investigated the source from which Wikileaks obtained the information and the person who is privy to this knowledge is ensconced in the Ecuadorean Embassy in England. The U. S. could easily get Ecuador to release him so he could be extradited to the U. S. and be compelled to reveal his source or admit he obtained the emails he has been releasing to the press by his own methods. This is not being pursued because the government does not want it known the Russians had nothing to do with it. We are living in a police state and the police hierarchy have been corrupted as they were during the days of Prohibition.

The government, through patronage, has loaded itself with Democrat believers since the days of Franklin Roosevelt. They are not about to allow anyone else, Republican or Independent to upset their applecart. All of this would be moot had they nominated Bernie Sanders, who is not even a Democrat. He would have won in a landslide.

Bu Bernie is no different

Bu Bernie is no different than the rest , the only landslide Bernie has is the increasing number of properties around the lake
he owns.
Do we know if Bernie has read "the Book" ?

The federal investigators will determine the volume of the slide.

Bernie's misdeeds did not

Bernie's misdeeds did not come out until after the election and you will remember Bernie did not go after Hillary on her misdeeds, in fact he deliberately stayed away from them during his campaign and nearly won and probably would have had not Hillary tied up all the votes of the super delegates.

Which is a more serious crime, stealing or sexual harassment? The people seem to thing sexual harassment because every elected official can be found guilty of using their office for personal gain or they would not have advanced to where they are. It is therefore expected that in order to achieve high public office the office holder must either promise his supporter a job (patronage) or a return on their investment by laws that favor them. Entitlement programs are a form of patronage. The only difference is one must work for the former and not work for the latter.

The witch hunt will continue

The witch hunt will continue and as we have already seen, efforts are now focused by the Special Persecutor on finding anything that they can that will enable them to indict Trump. For this "crime" (treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors) he can be charge by the House of Representative (Impeached) and if convicted of the charge by the Senate he can be removed from office. It is not know if he could be charged again after leaving office since it has never happened before and there is no precedent. Since OJ was tried in civil court it is entirely possible the federal courts would accept an indictment on the same charge.

The main thing is to remove him from power and there are probably as many Republicans as Democrats who would like to see this done. That will find a reason to impeach him I have no doubt and bribery would be the most likely avenue except, if they do, they open themselves up to the same charge and there is not a politician alive who has not taken money for favors of one kind or another. They would not like to see this practice reduced to a criminal offense.

The Constitution enables the government to "coin money" and prohibits the States from doing so or "make any thing but gold or silver coin a tender in payment of debts". As the man said, he who has the gold makes the rules. Since Nixon took us off the gold standard and paper currency could no longer be redeemed in gold, we are in violation of the law using the U. S. dollar as payment of debts. This situation was inevitable when you substitute anything as a means of exchange for what really backs it and behaves like it and that is the kcal or the fuel value of food that man needs in order to produce work. It is all explained in "The Book", often cited by those who have not read it. By the way, Nixon did not have the authority or power under the Constitution to take us off the gold standard.
