Here is an update on the repeal of LD 1495
According to state law, Maine Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap had until Oct. 13 to review more than 60,000 signatures that were submitted a month ago as part of a people's veto effort to overturn the state Legislature's recently enacted tax reform bill. Oct. 13th came and went without any announcement by Dunlap -- much to the surprise of Dan Billings, a Waterville attorney who is representing people's veto supporters.
