Thank you Mike, I enjoyed

Thank you Mike, I enjoyed this man's sermon.

I've pretty much kept it to myself but since this man brings up the watered down sloppy agape preaching, well...

Supposedly in the Greek we get the name Jesus (the) Christ. Get a bucket of stones ready to throw but that is not a very masculine
sounding name or title. I have heard that this title in Greek, Christos, is a feminine gendered word but I couldn't find verification of that.

Our Messiah, Yahushua Ha Mashiach, closer translated like Joshua the Messiah is quite a bit more stirring and strong sounding.

I realize that many scriptures support that God possesses both genders in one as I believe Adam did being created in His image, and we see the creation of woman as being the dividing the one being Adam into two separate humans. Jesus Himself weeping over Jerusalem stated how many times I would have gathered you under my wings for protection as a hen would her chicks, but you would not. That is fine. God displays both masculine and feminine attributes depending on the situation, but at this point in time of history the next "Jesus" that we will be seeing is as follows.

Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

bump This STILL needs

bump

This STILL needs preaching in today's church, from Psalm 51:4-4 & Revelation 19:11-16. Unfortunately he's using the ESV, here are the verses from the KJV:

4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Psalm 51 (KJV - BibleGateway)

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

Revelation 19 (KJV - BibleGateway)
