Recently one of the LTTE in the PTSNBN by Cathy Whittenburg made the statement as fact that there were more gun dealers in Maine than Grocery stores. I checked. In 2007 there wre 476 FFL's in
Maine and an email to the Maine Grocer Assoc. found 556 stores. Yet another lie from the anti gunners. as usual.

Nice job Gaffer! These people deal in lies and that is why we always win. The truth means less to them than reaching their current objective, whatever it is at the time.

This particular attack is a lame attempt to copy the early Clinton-era report from the Violence Policy Center (Josh Sugarman's Group). Unlike Cathy and all 12 of the "Million Moms" Josh usually does his homework. (He is shifty and full of bull, but does his homework.) He issued a report called "More Gun Dealers than Gas Stations" and he and Sweet Sarah Brady rallied Slick Willy to clamp down on their newest target, the FFL with no walk-in storefront. It resulted in an assault on the legal, law abiding gun dealers while the real bad guys went along with their business as usual.

Nice catch Gaffer. I wish it was surprising.
