State Rep. Rich Cebra annnounces new gun rights organization

State Rep. Rich Cebra announced today a new gun rights organization in Maine dedicated to the preservation and protection of gun rights in our state. Gun rights have been under attack in the Legislature over the last several sessions and Cebra believes a new grassroots organization dedicated to building a coalition of responsible gun owners will help deter future efforts to undermine Maine gun ownership.

Cebra's website for more information is:

First things first address the issue of allowing legal guns by those who can past the test for the permit to carry guns on university campuses throughout the state of Maine..

A very good idea! Every gun owner should sign on to create a vast network of progun communication and fund raising to subvert and counter the negative antigun hysteria that goes on today. Maine gun owners cannot rest on past successes as the scenario in Maine is slowly changing as more and more flatlanders move here from points south.
We must become more proactive and prevent any schisms that divide us such as the recent LD 778 that had the NRA and SAM on the opposite side of MGOA. Such schisms play right into the hands of the antis and we must prevent this at all cost in the future. Go Rich!

Excellent! Sounds great. Grass Roots is always the most effective when combined with a strong State and Federal organized effort!! Grass Roots rules when it comes to real policy! This is excellent news.

I think any effort to protect the right to bears arms is great. I am a member of NRA and have been since 1984. Is this group affiliated with the NRA? Let me know how to sign up. I went to the website and could not find anything? Keep up the good work.

The Republicans want an issue. Here's one that cuts across party lines.

Response today to Rich's announcement was tremendous. I wish him well on this effort. There are few people more dedicated to promoting responsible gun ownership in Maine.

Rich Cebra Sets Example..What about the rest of Republicans

Rich Cebra is doing a GREAT job in protecting Maine Firearm owners and sportsman from the constant bombardment of anti-gun legislation that we have currently been dealing with. Also, it should be know that during the recent barrage of anti-gun legislation L.D. 778, L.D. 1000 L.D. 1111 and others that we delt with Rich Cebra was there throughout both the hearings, and work shops to give testimony and any other input needed to help defeat the anti-gunners at every turn while the rest of the "Republicans" didn't seem to have the time. So we need to band together and support Rich Cebra and www.firearmrightsforme.com and let the rest of the Republicans know that they need to follow his lead!

THANKS AGAIN RICH KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! :D :D
