Stephen King - National Embarrassment

This Bozo is a perfect example of a hate filled, mean-spirited, low rent Liberal waste of protoplasm. He posted a inane, vulgar and repugnant rant against conservative on the Daily Beast. He and Urkel the POTUS are made for each other.

First and foremost an

First and foremost an embarrassment to himself !
As has been spoken about in numerous threads this is a prime example of having talent(at least in one area) amassing large sums of money from it does not equate to having any class.
One cannot buy it ,one cannot earn it , it is a character thing,he has none.
Not a fan of his writing,I do not read horror stories, but a careful analysis I believe would reveal a succession of books based on the same format that garnered some movie rights and supported other books is the basis of this wealth
which really equates to not working very hard.
He has really only accomplished one thing, totally cemented himself in irrelevancy!!!
Sad and pathetic.

King has been very generous

King has been very generous to Maine and various causes. I wouldn't write-off the fellow.

I think the issue is one can be as generous as one wants, but it is immoral to force OTHERS be generous also.

Separated at birth? ___ It

Separated at birth?

It seems to be an occupational hazard of intellectual "celebrities". They step away from their areas of expertise and step right in it, big time.

I was a University of Maine

I was a University of Maine classmate of Kings, UMO '70. The man has done some great writing and he and his wife are well known for their philantropy around the Bangor area especially.

But this latest rant is a perfect example of the progressive ideology. When they cannot argue a point with logic, which none of them can, they resort to cursing and gutter talk, second to none, as they know no other way to react.

Hey Steven, lay off the Prozac it is doing some strange stuff to you, not that you weren't pretty strange already.

In his defense, he has been really off his rocker since that encounter with a car, that he came out second best in, some years back.

Yes, he and his wife have

Yes, he and his wife have been very philanthropic in Maine.
Besides tax deductions what has that bought them?
I believe a free pass on such things as this rant.
I am sure the accident has had an affect , it probably has just amplified why was there already.

It may only be symbolic, but

It may only be symbolic, but you can always vote with your wallet.... I haven't bought king's books or watched his movies for years.
Like all of the big time liberal blowholes he'll talk about paying more taxes but won't.
It's kind of interesting that twice this week Gov Christie's weight has been mention in the public discourse . kimmel at the Washington cesspool dinner and this latest outburst.
I wonder if it doesn't rise to the level of a hate crime....is making fun or derogatory remarks about fat people any different than talking trash about gays, ethnic origin, mentally retarded etc...Plenty of over weight people have problems that are beyond their control...... caused by disease ,medications or addiction.
I mean really where is that big*&^%#!@! liberal heart of King's hiding where the *&^%$#%@!!! is the compassion???? What about all of the fat *&^^%$#@!!! children who have been hurt by his remarks What the *&&%$##@!!!! is the world coming to when people as kind and good and generous a king say hurtful things about fat people?

It is only "Hate Crimes" when

It is only "Hate Crimes" when conservative white males are talking!

Gutter talk, is the liberals favorite, and only way, of arguing a point as they are totally without logical minds.

Stephen King and like-mided

Stephen King and like-mided 1%ers congregate in Default's Gulch

Bill Frezza in Forbes

“My brothers and sisters,” intones the movement’s leader, ... Forwardicus. “The defeat we just sustained at the hands of those not yet sufficiently enlightened to entrust their future to our wise leadership is but a passing challenge. I have a plan to regain what is rightfully ours to redistribute.... Let the word go forth from this time and place that the intellectual leaders of the progressive movement are going on strike!”

Oh, if only!!!!
