Snowe, R-Maine, has announced the team that will lead her re-election campaign for 2006.Leading the campaign will be Ted O'Meara of South Portland, managing director of Pierce Atwood Consulting. O'Meara was Snowe's chief staff person in Maine during her first term in the U.S. House, and has been involved in many local and statewide races.Snowe for Senate honorary co-chairs are Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, former Maine Gov. John McKernan, Peter Cianchette of South Portland, Karen Raye of Perry and Maine GOP state chair, Randy Bumps of Minot.
