Thousands praying and fasting for Maine

Recently, I was asked by national Christian leaders and pro-family leaders in Maine to call the whole state of Maine and all of New England to fast and pray for 21 days starting tomorrow October 14 through November 4th, election day.

God is giving a “divine assignment” to His people in Maine at this time. Are you ready and willing? Forget about political correctness – it’s time for the church to take a stand. As God’s people we are commanded to stand firm against evil, powers, and principalities of darkness.

As in the days of Nehemiah, God wants us to build up a stone wall. He is looking for intercessors to repair the wall and stand in the gap on behalf of the land so that He might not destroy it

Whatever the outcome of the vote, a stone wall will not move. It must remain fixed - steadfast in prayer and fasting – even after the votes are tallied.

I am fasting today to give sacrifice and prayer to God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Some have started a 10-day fast. You may want to consider setting aside some time for that.
