I tried yesterday and today to watch some events. NBC runs about 3 minutes of coverage, then 2 minutes of commercials (they have to pay their fees) including a 30 second spot with BHO proclaiming that Romney is the devil's spawn: I approved this message.

I quit. I would rather watch old movies. I have to admit, however, that Women's Beach Volleyball is my new, favorite spectator sport.

PS: Michelle O is the unofficial coach of this team.

After watching all the GM commercials for the Olympics, perhaps the Chevy brand should change their slogan to "Chevy spends deep!" I didn’t count them, but it seemed like half were GM commercials.
With sales lagging, how can they afford so many commercials on that particular network?
Even though GM was in a jam, I’m not surprised that some buyers are done with Government Motors.
Since they are too big to fail, what will our government do now to help GM sales?
Maybe we can pay for their commercials.

I heard yesterday that GM is lowering the standards for getting an auto loan through them. That people with credit scores in the 500's will qualify, but I don't know if that is true.

The business model that bankrupted the old General Motors remains in place unchanged in the new Government Motors. It is doomed to fail (again).
