Will the USA survive?

A friend of mine sent this to me by e-mail. He got it from one of his kids.

The folks who are getting the free stuff, don't like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.

The folks who are paying for the free stuff want the free stuff to stop, and the folks who are getting the free stuff want even more free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!

Now... The people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff, that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff, are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.

So... The people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff, and giving them the free stuff in the first place.

We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff.

Now understand this. All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason? The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.

The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, 235 years ago. The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff. We have one chance to change that. In 2012. Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.

Yes, if we realign our

Yes, if we realign our national values to be concordance with those of God, as our founders did. If not, then no.

I think the answer is more

I think the answer is more complicated then just a "yes" or a "no". If we look backwards in time we see that every great Nation and Society has a start, some ups and downs and then because of a number of things that society changes and either ends or evolves (in the sense that it changes into something that it wasn't at it's start). If we could go into the future 500 years will the USA still be around? My best bet that is less than a 50% chance, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. One of the problems that we as humans have is that we filter everything through our experience instead of maybe seeing the larger picture.

Depends on who's willing to

Depends on who's willing to stand up and defend it, doesn't it.

This country is toast. When

This country is toast. When is the last time we have had any good news on the Federal, state, local levels , or in your neighborhood?

From China accusing a US carrier of an international waters violation, sinking the US carrier to show their new world dominance and we[USA] realize we can not respond, to a nuke or two going off in this country. There are too many scenarios but something is going to happen soon to show father time has really come for this country.

This country is too doped up on drugs and booze and vices. Party, party, party time, day and night. We got no one to blame but our people.

The world seems to be going

The world seems to be going into its crazy cycle again. Maybe the pope is right that we need a central bank and government to be the oversee the masses and bring order out of this chaos...

I read excepts from a book that was published back in 1943 that outlined the projected goal of having a central world governing body and all the countries would just be nation states with only a military to control internal problems. No country would be permitted to have a military that would threaten a neighboring nation state and if anyone got uppity, the global army would shut them down forth with. Wow, utopia at last, sigh...
