KENNEBUNK - Chandler Woodcock smiled quietly during a recent Rotary luncheon as a club member good-naturedly hit up his fellow Rotarians for $1 contributions if they arrived late or committed other fanciful offenses.
Then it was his turn to speak.
"I'm very impressed with the affinity you have for one another and the way you dish out dollar bills," said Woodcock, a three-term state senator and the Republican candidate for governor. "It reminds me of my service in the Legislature."
