A Realtor ...(had) a monthlong suspension for breaking into a home to show it to his buyer clients...
..snip
... Bill Dignan ... was (also) fined $1,800. General Manager Ray Pape.. was fined $1,000 in the incident.
...Pape gave Dignan permission to show the property.... told him the Straters "were not living at the property," ... "not be necessary to contact them."
...snip
... (Dignan) gained access by breaking a glass window pane... and unlatching the locked window.
How not to win new clients, or keep your old ones.
Do they state anywhere these are Massiello Realtors??
The article states they're both from the Masiello Agency in York. It also says the consent agreements were signed with the Maine Real Estate Commission on Sept. 10, 2008, and March 27, 2008.
Doubtless the original documents would be available at the Maine Real Estate Commission site.
I have heard of agressive real estate salespeople but this takes the cake.
Indeed. "Burgle, Broker & Sons" would be a good moniker for the outfit.
Now that's funny Naran!
LOL, funny story.
Whats next? Kidnap the home owner and force him to sign the offer?

According to the article, the contract with the owners had expired, but the two realtors in question decided that didn't matter, since they still had the keys. But, when he couldn't find those, Dignan busted a window to gain entrance. The homeowner caught him in the act. I bet he wished he'd never been born.
